He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Marmara University (Marmara Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi) in 2006 and practises as an attorney registered with the Antalya Bar Association under registration number 2511. After working in Istanbul and Ankara, he returned to Alanya and founded Sophos Law Firm in Alanya.
In 2010 he completed a master’s degree in Public Law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Çankaya University (Çankaya Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü); his master’s thesis is titled “İdari Yargıda Olağanüstü Kanun Yolu” (Extraordinary Legal Remedies in Administrative Jurisdiction). In the same year he completed the International Legal Studies programme run jointly by the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and the Faculty of Law of the University of Salzburg. In 2008 he attended the training of the Justice Academy of Türkiye (Türkiye Adalet Akademisi) on European Human Rights Law, the Right to a Fair Trial and the Right to Property.
